Our 30 Year Timeline

1990


1993

Richard & Delary Hofmann (brothers) started a weekend hobby dog-earing fence posts.  However, it quickly turned into a full-time business within a few years.  Now, 30 years later - we have 12 full-time employees and encompass approx. 5 acres on the east edge of Sutton.       

1993 - Holtec Crosscut placed in service                                                               


1994

1998

July - A tornado rips through the facility, causing major damage to  buildings, equipment, and residence.  Facility is operating at full capacity within 2 weeks.

Acquisition of Pallet Business

Rich passes away after a long battle with colon cancer

Purchased a grinder to produce semi-loads of mulch for a cancer fundraiser

Installation of an outdoor wood burning furnace to heat all of our buildings with lumber waste

Jesse and Ashley purchase Delary's share of the company

Sale of our plywood processing division



Installation of a Cresswood Grinder.  This was our final step to accomplish our goal of recycling 100% of our by-product and scrap waste.

Installation of an automatic nailing machine, enabling us to increase efficiency and production.
